304L is an ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel developed to solve the serious intergranular corrosion tendency of 304 material caused by Cr23 and C6 precipitation. Its sensitized intergranular corrosion resistance is significantly better than that of 304, and its other properties are the same as 304 except for slightly lower strength. All kinds of stainless steel welding process can be used for welding, and heat treatment is not required after welding.
As a Low-C 304 steel, its corrosion resistance is similar to that of 304 steel in general state, but it has excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion after welding or stress relief; it can also maintain good corrosion resistance without heat treatment, and the service temperature is - 196 鈩?~ 800 鈩?
It is used in the field open-air machines of chemical, coal and petroleum industries with high requirements of grain boundary corrosion resistance, heat-resistant parts of building materials and parts with difficult heat treatment
